5 October 2023: Second joint RAG - TAG - meeting of RFC AMBER and RFC Baltic - Adriatic
On 5 October 2023 RFC AMBER and RFC Baltic-Adriatic will once again hold a joint meeting with the Railway and Terminal Advisory Groups of both corridors. The meeting will take place in the Italian capital Rome, in the presence of Ms. Anne E. Jensen, EU-Coordinator for the Baltic-Adriatic Core Network Corridor.
After a successful first joint meeting in October 2022 in Prague RFCs AMBER and Baltic-Adriatic decided once again to team up and arrange together a meeting with their Advisory Groups, this time in Rome. Both corridors have several overlapping sections and share many stakeholders and customers and are complementing each other already today. The proposal for a revised TEN-T-Regulation foresees both RFCs to jointly form the backbone of one of the new European Transport Corridors.
The meeting serves both the purpose to inform customers about recent developments and planned activities in both corridors and to exchange on critical issues, which customers today are facing when using the corridors. It also offers once again the opportunity to meet and exchange with Representatives of the European Commission, the RFC Members as well as with partners and colleagues active on RFC AMBER and on our sister corridor RFC Baltic-Adriatic.
