Mudslide blocks the line between Budapest and Bratislava
Due to the heavy rainfall in the last days, during the day and in the evening on 17th June 2020 a lot of water and mud flowed and washed a lot of stones on the tracks and closed both of them on the line Budapest – Szob/Štúrovo - Bratislava. Restoration of the line will take several days. Restoration of the line will take several days. Freight trains are rerouted via Rusovce – Rajka and Komárno – Komárom. International Contingency Management (ICM) process has been launched. The leading IM is MÁV Co., the leading RFC is RFC OEM.
